Frontier has executed a contract with BP for the Seillean June 2010 - Frontier has signed a contract with British Petroleum to provide the DP FPSO Seillean for the recovery efforts at the Macondo well site in the Gulf of Mexico.

Development of the Cachalote and Baleia Franca fields The Cachalote Field was discovered in November 2002 as a result of drilling well ESS-116 at a water depth of 1,478 m and some 10 km away from the newly-discovered Jubarte Field. It is located at an average water depth of 1,400 m and are about 80 km away from the southern coast of Espírito Santo.

Seeking to collect data to prepare the development project for the Cachalote field, in December 16, 2008, Petrobras began a Production Pilot at the Cachalote Field with the installation of FPSO Seillean. The Pilot lasted for ten months.

Petrobras starts Marlim Leste oil production test RIO DE JANEIRO, Feb 8 2008 (Reuters) - Brazil's state oil company Petrobras said on Friday it started a long-term production test at the offshore Marlim Leste field, where it plans to install two big platforms later this year.

The floating production storage and offloading unit Seillean will produce up to 20,000 barrels per day and collect oil flow and geological information at the Jabuti reserve for the second module of Marlim Sul, which Petrobras expects to put onstream in December this year in the Campos basin.

The permanent production unit FPSO Cidade de Niteroi would pump 100,000 bpd.

Petrobras said it was important to monitor the reserve first to reduce the risk for the final project as the carbonate rock geological oil-containing cluster in deep waters of the Campos basin is little explored.

The first module of Marlim Sul is scheduled to go online earlier in the second half of this year when the 180,000 bpd P-53 platform will be installed there.

Apart from the two Marlim Leste units, Petrobras hopes to crank up the 180,000 bpd P-51 platform on Marlim Sul field by mid-2008. The company seeks to boost average output this year to 2 million bpd from last year's 1.79 million bpd. (Reporting by Andrei Khalip; Editing by David Gregorio).

Petrobras’ Oil Production Exceeds Two Million Bpd. Petrobras’ announces that on December 25, 2007, the company set another daily oil production record in Brazil: 2 million, 238 barrels, a mark few companies in the world have reached. The record is the outcome of the progressive production increases that have been taking place in the past few years.

In 2007 alone, the company put six new production platforms online, adding 590,000 barrels to the installed capacity (maximum lifting capacity the units were designed for) in Brazilian fields. The previous record had been set on October 23 2006, at 1,912,000 barrels.

The production of oil in the Dolphin (Golfinho) field - located off the coast of Aracruz - will be anticipated for the summer of this year (2005). Initially, Petrobras intended to start to produce in the beginning of 2006. Production will start in August with the exploration of a pilot well, ESS 132, and the daily production of 20,000 barrels per day. The plan of the state was to start to only explore in Dolphin from 2006, but the start date was argued. In Dolphin, the company found light crude oil. The Seillean will be used from the Jubarte field, in the South coast, for the Dolphin field.

Petrobras plans to move it' Seillean FPSO vessel from Jubarte field to start a 1 or 2 year evaluation program on the company's Golfinho discovery in 4,429 ft to 4,725 ft (1,350m to 1,440m) in the Espirito Santo Basin offshore Brazil.

By the end of December 2003, the Seillean had achieved an average production rate of 17,500 barrels per day with an almost perfect continuous production rate.

In February 2003 Petrobras achieved a new monthly oil production record in Brazil, with an average of 1 million 597 thousand barrels per day, breaking the previous record of 1 million 556 thousand barrels per day, achieved in the month of January, by almost 3% or 41 thousand barrels per day. From February's total production, 1 million 304 thousand barrels per day derived from the Campos Basin, which also achieved a new monthly oil production record.

The major facts that contributed with such result were:

·the high operating performance of the FPSO Seillean in the Jubarte field, located in the north of the Campos Basin, in the offshore of the state of Espírito Santo, which has exceed 18 thousand barrels per day

· the start of operation of FPSO-BRASIL, in the Roncador field, in December 2002, through the well RO-14. Now, there are four wells interconnected with that system, producing a volume of 64 thousand barrels per day since February 19;

· the great operating efficiency obtained in the Campos Basin, with special attention to platform P-40 (Marlim Sul) which achieved, in February, a daily volume of 155 thousand barrels;

· the highlighted production obtained in the terrestrial area of the state of Espírito Santo which, on February 16, achieved a record production of 30 thousand barrels;
