Seillean in production
Deepest producing well

Petrobras broke its own deepwater record Jan. 25, 1999, for a producing well at its Roncador field in the Campos Basin offshore Brazil.

The deepest offshore well in the world, 1-RJS-436A, is in 6,078ft (1,853m) waters and was producing 20,000 b/d of oil through the Roncador Early Production System, operated from the Seillean floating production, storage and offloading (FPSO) vessel, the first dynamically positioned FPSO in the world.

Roncador also holds the record for the fastest turnaround from rig charter to first oil: 10 months. Petrobras also held the previous record for deepwater production, which was the Marlim South No. 3 well in 5,606ft (1,709m) waters.
