On
Sunday April 20th
La Rouaudière, a small village in Mayenne (department 53),
hosts a Vide Grenier (car boot sale). It is run by the local English community in celebration of
St George's Day, and is fast becoming a popular annual event.
The idea was formed by Karen Roberts, a local resident, who hoped it would bring the English and French community in the area closer together with a common goal of raising money for the village school.
